Ronnie George, DDS

Dr. Ronnie George received both his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and his Master of Dental Surgery from the College of Dental Surgery in India in 1997 and 2001 and completed his internship there as well.

He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the College of Dental Medicine Columbia University, New York, NY in May 2007.

Dr. George takes special interest in Endodontics (root canal therapy) and denture/partial appliances. He is also a published writer of several medical articles in his areas of expertise.

Dr. George is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. A loving husband of five years to wife Rose, attends St Mark's Catholic Church in Huntersville and enjoys tennis in his spare time.

Other activities include parasailing and bungee jumping. He's an avid reader of favorites like Philosophy, Psychology and Science.

Cynthia Leigh, DDS

Dr. Cynthia Leigh received her Bachelor of Arts from Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA in 1978 and her Doctorate of Dental Science from the Medical College of Virginia in 2002 after raising her children.

Because of her passion for children, Dr. Leigh chose to do her General Practice Residency at the University of Virginia where she was able to work with Kluge Rehabilitation Center. There she provided dental care for children suffering with mental and physical handicaps.

Here at Kings Mountain Dentistry, Dr. Leigh provides the dental treatment for children 20 years of age and under. Dr. Leigh also offers nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for those that need a little extra help.

Dr. Leigh enjoys sailing, kayaking and snow skiing in her spare time. She's passionate about outdoor adventures and loves to stay fit and healthy by taking Pilates Classes.

Thom Markeson, DDS

Dr. Thom Markeson, a native Utahn, received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degrees from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Markeson enjoys all aspects of dentistry but he especially likes meeting new patients and looks forward to developing friendly and caring relationships with them and following them and their families through the years.

He has recently moved to Charlotte and is enjoying beautiful North Carolina and the friendly people he has met.

In his spare time Dr. Markeson can often be found barbequing for friends or playing golf without the 30 mph wind that is typically found in the Midwest.
